A firm founded on integrity, growing in scale and reputation
Recruitment is a key division of Forsythes - a diverse business services firm that has grown on solid foundations laid in 1953, from a staff of six to now 120. The firm diversified in the 1980s, adding IT and recruitment and extending business services into financial planning and forensic accounting.
Adding valuable new services: Forsythes Recruitment has grown strongly since the division was established in 1987. In the 1990s we developed a database of candidates, now over 35,000, and added trade and industrial recruitment to our white-collar corporate services.
Managing risk professionally: In 2004 we signed an agreement with Risq Group, a national fraud and risk management organisation, enabling us to verify information supplied by candidates. In the same year we acquired and subsequently rebranded an office on the Central Coast, making us the largest locally owned recruitment firm in the Hunter region.
Tools for the new millennium: In 2003 Forsythes Recruitment became a member of the worldwide recruitment network NPA, providing us with national and global search capability. In 2006 we deployed an organisational psychologist and in 2008 a specialist career counsellor and coach to provide Newcastle and Central Coast’s first fully integrated outplacement service.
