Our outplacement services are attentive, goal focused and proven in both individual and group circumstances.

Candidates participating in outplacement support participate in what we call a foundation discussion. This highly confidential discussion with one of our specialist outplacement consultants guarantees important outcomes:

  • Trust;
  • Renewed perspective;
  • Shared accountability;
  • Assessment and prioritization of real needs; and
  • Confidence in pursuing and meeting those needs.

This important discussion sets up and maps out what ‘successful outplacement’ is for each candidate. Three levels of support are then provided to accurately meet your needs and budget:

Level 1
This outplacement package is designed to provide a basic level of support for displaced employees. It includes:

  • Providing up to date resume advice, job application strategies and interview insights
  • Identification of training needs and recommendations
  • Advice and consultation with relevant Forsythes Recruitment consultants including database registration and ongoing consideration for future roles

Level 2
This package is designed to provide a proactive and ongoing level of support for displaced employees. It is recommended for longer serving employees or those people requiring a higher level of support. It includes Level 1 support plus:

  • Wellbeing counseling. Job loss is often one of the most stressful events one will experience in life. This package includes an additional and follow-up consultation focused on stress management, motivation and emotional support.
  • Job search support. Recipients of this package receive 12 weeks of proactive support in finding alternative employment. This includes leading edge online research, social media profiling and introductions to relevant recruitment consultants outside of Forsythes Recruitment.

Level 3
This package is designed to provide a comprehensive range of support services and is recommended for managers and executives. It includes Level 1 and Level 2 services plus:

  • Psychological assessment and career coaching. Many people are able to treat redundancy as an opportunity to re-assess their skills and personality and ultimately consider a new career. We use industry-leading SHL testing and trained SHL consultants to explore and advise at this level.
  • Executive job search support and networking. Recipients of this package receive 24 weeks of proactive support in identifying alternative opportunities. This includes leading edge online research, social media profiling and introductions to relevant executive consultants and networks nationally and globally (where required).
  • Independent financial advice. Through one-on-one consultation with a Forsythes Financial Planning director, participants in this service will receive strategic advice on circumstantial positioning, packaging, tax planning and asset management.
